My research interest lies mainly in soft matter physics including both fluids and biology. For fluids I am interested in interfacial flows and complex (non-Newtonian) fluids. In biology I aim to understand self-organisation, particularly mechanical, in the development of organisms. I advocate supportive mentorship, research-informed teaching and active learning for student-centred education.
